Getting the Book & Getting Started
To get a copy of the required text, 5 Essential Principles for Healing Black Men & Raising Black Boys, choose an option:
Recommended: read the Introduction section on your own, then read the first chapter, on Principle I.
As you follow the lessons, you will pause after reading about each Principle, to use the Reading Guide, journal and other activities provided. To benefit fully, allow time for reflection, self-expression, discussion, re-reading, and re-vision of your plans. An average amount of time spent on each Principle is estimated at 5 hours.
Repeat the process for each Principle.
